Our pastor David Landrith has really been adamant about making sure our church staff accountability. Having someone in your life who can ask you the hard questions that never seem have easy answers. I was just thinking about what are the top 5 things to look for in a accountability partner.
1. Trustworthy
2. Loyal
3. Confrontational
4. Belief
5. Fearless
Francis Chan recently made a big decision to leave his church . Mark Driscoll and Joshua Harris sat him down in this video and JUST let him have it....well Driscoll was doing all the handing. The thing that stuck out to me the most in this video was how Mark didn't wanna waste any time and beat around the bush. He came out firing and Francis knows Mark wants him to be successful but he also knows he will not let him off the hook that easy. This is how accountability should look like. Sitting with down at a table asking the hard questions and being pushed.
