We took some of our students to see this movie Saturday and I have to admit it was a great movie. It had a really great message about how exhausting life can be when your trying to be someone your not. So many of us chose to live a life to please others like our friends, boyfriends, girlfriends, even our bosses, but if our lives become about them, then we lose focus. We have to understand that we were built to please our Heavenly Father and if were not doing that then life can become very empty.
Galatians 1:10 says:
Am I now trying to win the approval of men, or of God? Or am I trying to please men? If I were still trying to please men, I would not be a servant of Christ.
